With the player deadline coming closer and The Nordlingen Giants in danger of leaving the PRO A with a 6-14 record at 15th place, the club decided to get active on the market by getting Donovan Morris (191-G-84, college: Long Beach St.). His last team was Falco KC-Szombathely of Hungary where he was averaging 11.3 ppg in 27 minutes per game. Nordlingen manager Jurgen Kohl is happy about getting the American. ‘We have to stop this possible risk of leaving the PRO A. Morris will help us’, stressed Jurgen Kohl. He played at Fresno State from 2004-2006 and then transfered to Long Beach and played there from 2007-2009. In his senior year, he played 25 games averaging 14.8ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.0apg, FGP: 40.5%, 3Pts: 27.2%, FT: 83.6%.
